Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all. We played at the House of Blues in Las Vegas (at Mandalay Bay) in November and I'm just now getting around to updating the site. Sorry 'bout the delay! The show was great. I have wanted to perform at HOB ever since I saw Freaky Friday, well actually for quite awhile before that but seeing Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan rockin out just fueled the flames! :-)

I wanted to say hi to Lacey and sorry you couldn't get into the show! Maybe next time we'll play at an all-ages venue. Also hi to Holly and thanks for your support. Thanks to Heather and the House of Blues dancers for making the evening more memorable! A good night all around, Animotion can't wait to play Las Vegas again. Check out the photos here.

Has anyone seen the Brooke Shields commercial currently on TV? She's listening to and singing "Obsession" to her kid. I haven't seen it yet but I've been told it's cool.

If anyone has anything to share or if you just want to say hi please send us an email or sign our guestbook

What is it with thunderstorms and Animotion? Las Vegas was the third show in a row to be affected by thunderstorms! It was OK for our set, but after about 4 songs Human League had to dive for cover for fear of being hit by lighting at the Sunset Station Amphitheater. The wind and rain were so strong that the rest of the concert was cancelled. All of us in Animotion felt really bad for all those music lovers in the audience that had the music cut-off so quickly!

We did meet some really great fans. In fact, we had the pleasure of meeting some new young fans who were attending their first concert ever, what an honor for us!

If anyone has photos or stories to share or just want to say hi please send us an email -- thanks Barb and Clay! ;-)

Also, check out our photos from Las Vegas.

Speaking of thunderstorms, are next show is Oct 4th in Miami, Florida. Luckily it's inside this time.

We had a great time performing at 6 Flags in New Jersey last month. Dale from Missing Persons and Teri from Berlin were so cool we really enjoyed hanging out with them. All the other musicians and crew were great too. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate but the fans that endured the rain got a good show. Check out the photos.

First of all, our apologies for not updating our news page since we put the site up! We will try to keep this page more current so bookmark it and check back regularly. If there is something that you missed, you can view all the previous news items by clicking the link at the bottom.

Last month Bill and Astrid were invited to The Hard Rock Hotel, Orlando for their "Velvet Sessions". Tommy Tutone (Jenny 867-5309) joined Bill and Astrid on stage for a fun night of rocking 80's music. Here are a few pics of the event.

The Hard Rock Hotel was awesome many thanks to all the great staff for making the bands feel welcome. The moment they were picked up at the airport in the world's first PT Cruiser limousine they knew the party was on.

Animotion recommends this as a definite stop if you find yourself in Orlando, Florida.

Right now we are preparing for our June 21st New Jersey show with Berlin and Missing Persons. See our show page for more info.

We're also excited to be sharing the bill with Human League at the Sunset Station Ampitheatre, Las Vegas, on August 16th. Human League has always been one of our favorite bands.

NOTICE: If anyone has pictures of Animotion at The Coach House please let us know! We would love to add them to our web site. Send your photos to us click here

After 14 years we decided it was time to reunite!

This month Animotion performed at the legendary Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Southern Ca. Many old faces and new attended the show including original drummer Jim Blair and keyboard player Paul Antonelli. The house rocked as the band took over not only the stage but also several table tops!

There were no holds barred as the band went through their set cranking out the tunes with as much if not more energy than previous shows. Everyone in the band agrees that this is way too much fun and we had better do some more shows soon.Check our show page for upcoming perfomances.
